Shop overflow — Roxboro, NC — mill, lathe, assemblies

Keep the production work. Offload the short runs.

A five-piece job should not stop a machine that is making money on a long run. Send the low-quantity work here. We quote in 24 hours, cut it, and ship it back to you — or wherever you tell us.

QUOTES IN 24 HOURS NO MINIMUM QUANTITY SHIP BACK TO YOUR SHOP YOU TALK TO THE MACHINIST

You stay the vendor. We are the overflow bench.

We do not need the customer’s name. Send the print, the quantity, and where the parts should go.

01

Send the job

CAD, a print, or a marked-up drawing. Quantity, material, and whether it needs weld or assembly. Say if parts ship back to you or to a destination you specify.

02

Quote in 24 hours

A machinist prices it against open capacity. If a feature should route out or should not be bid, that is in the quote — not a surprise after you have already promised a date.

03

We cut and ship

Parts go back to your dock, or to the address on your PO. You mark it up, you keep the relationship, your production queue stays clean.

The jobs that do not belong on a production mill

CNC Milling & Turning
3-axis mill and 2-axis lathe. One-offs through short runs. Tolerances held to print.
Functional Assemblies
Machine the pieces, weld when needed, assemble, and ship a unit — not a bag of parts for your floor to kit.
Welding
MIG and TIG in-house when the job needs it. Not certified. We do not bid code, stamp, or structural-certification welds.
Reverse Engineering
No drawing? Send the original. We scan it, build CAD, and machine the replacement. You keep the file.
CNC Plasma Coming soon
Plate cutting shortly. Not on the floor yet and not quoting. Ask if you want a heads-up when it is running.
What we will not take
High-volume production, ITAR or CMMC work, certified welding, 5-axis / Swiss / mill-turn. If it is the wrong job, we will say so.

A partner, not another bid on your customer.

01

Your queue stays on production

without turning the short run down

The 5-piece job still ships. Your long run does not get interrupted for a setup that pays less.

02

You keep the account

we do not need to meet your customer

Ship back to your shop, or to an address you put on the PO. We are the overflow bench, not a second quote to your buyer.

03

One conversation

with the person who will cut it

Geometry, weld, assembly, and date with the machinist. No ticket system between shops.

04

Honest about limits

before you promise a date downstream

If we cannot hold a feature in-house, we route it or tell you not to send it. Better to know on day one than on day six.

What shop owners ask before sending a print

Will you go around us to the customer?
No. We work as your overflow bench. Unless you tell us to ship somewhere else, parts come back to your dock. We do not need the end customer’s name to quote or to cut.
What quantity is actually a fit?
One piece through roughly fifty is the sweet spot. Low-volume production is fine when it is not a long contract. If the job is really a production run, we will tell you we are the wrong shop.
Can you weld or send back a finished assembly?
Yes. Functional assemblies are built in the shop — machine, weld if needed, put it together. Welding is not certified. Code, stamp, or structural-certification welds are not what we bid.
Do you have CNC plasma?
Coming soon. It is not on the floor and we are not quoting plasma cutting. Mention it on the form if you want to be notified when it is running.
How fast can you turn an overflow job?
Quote within 24 hours. Typical short-run work ships in 5 to 7 business days from an approved PO. Special tooling or workholding changes the date, and that will be in the quote.
