What we run

CNC Milling
3-axis machining for brackets, housings, plates, fixtures, and functional prototypes.
CNC Turning
2-axis turning for shafts, bushings, spacers, and rotational parts, from one-offs to short runs.
Materials
Aluminum, carbon and stainless steel, tool steel, brass, exotic alloys, and engineering plastics including Delrin, UHMW, and PEEK. Customer-supplied material accepted.
Finishing & Secondary
Anodizing, plating, powder coat, heat treat, surface grinding, and wire EDM through vetted partners we manage. One quote, one point of contact, one shipment.
Fabrication & Assembly
Weldments and light assembly, so parts arrive ready to use instead of ready to sort.
Inspection
Dimensional inspection to print with calibrated hand metrology and height gauge. Inspection documentation and mill certs available on request.

The things engineers ask before sending a file

How fast can I actually get parts?
Quotes come back within 24 hours. Typical prototype work — one to five pieces in aluminum without special tooling — ships in 5 to 7 business days from an approved PO. If your job needs special tooling or workholding, that changes the date and it will be stated in the quote rather than discovered at day six.
Is there a minimum order?
No minimum quantity. One piece is a real order. Note that very small jobs carry setup and programming time regardless of quantity, so a single part is not proportionally cheaper than five — that will be reflected honestly in the quote.
What tolerances can you hold?
We hold to print. Send the drawing and we will tell you honestly whether we hold it in-house, route it to a partner for grinding or EDM, or should not bid the job at all. We would rather lose a quote than miss a tolerance.
Are you a small shop?
We are sized deliberately for prototype and short-run work. For this kind of job that is an advantage, not a limitation — your part is not behind a ten-thousand-piece contract, and you talk to the machinist instead of a ticket queue. Finishing, heat treat, grinding, and EDM run through a vetted partner network we manage, so capability extends well past what sits on our floor.
Are you ISO 9001 certified?
No. If your program requires ISO 9001, AS9100, ITAR, or CMMC, we are not the right shop and we will tell you that immediately. For prototype, R&D, and maintenance work that does not require it, you get documented inspection to print and mill certs on request without paying for compliance overhead your program does not need.
What files do you need?
STEP or IGES is ideal. Native SolidWorks, Fusion, or Inventor files work. A dimensioned PDF print works. A clear hand sketch with dimensions works. If you have no drawing at all, send the physical part and we will scan it — see our reverse engineering page.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes. Send yours with the RFQ, or ask and we will provide one. Prototype work is confidential by nature and we treat it that way.
Where do you ship?
Nationwide from Roxboro, North Carolina. Local pickup is available across the Triangle, the Piedmont, and southern Virginia — most of the region is inside a 90-minute drive.
