Call, hand it over, get it back

Skip the drawing step entirely. The broken part is the specification.

01

Call or send photos

Fastest first move. Two minutes on the phone usually settles whether this is workable and roughly how fast.

02

Get the part to us

Drop it off, meet us, or overnight it. Roxboro is inside 90 minutes of most of the region.

03

Scan and quote

3D scan and model where there is no drawing. A real price and a real date within 24 hours.

04

Machine and return

Straight onto the mill or lathe. Pick it up or we ship it. Make a spare while we are set up.

Make two. The next failure stops being an emergency.

Most of the cost in a one-off replacement is setup, programming, and modeling — not cutting. The second piece is dramatically cheaper than the first, and it turns the next failure from a shutdown into a parts-bin swap.

If a part has failed once on a machine you cannot easily replace, it will fail again. We keep the model on file, so a reorder is a phone call.

Typical downtime jobs

  • Shafts, bushings, sleeves, and bearing carriers
  • Brackets, mounts, plates, and structural weldments
  • Sprockets, spacers, collars, and drive components
  • Custom fasteners and studs nobody stocks anymore
  • Guides, wear plates, and machined wear items
  • Change parts and tooling for packaging and processing lines
  • Broken castings reproduced as machined replacements
  • Modified versions of parts that keep failing at the same spot

02

No drawing, no problem

03

You talk to the machinist

Not a portal, not a ticket, not an account manager. The person who will cut your part answers your questions.

Roxboro, NC. Local pickup and drop-off across the Triangle, the Piedmont, and southern Virginia — no waiting on freight.

What maintenance managers ask

How fast can you really turn this around?
Quotes come back within 24 hours. Typical work ships in 5 to 7 business days. Genuine emergencies get triaged against what is open on the floor, and because we run open capacity there is usually room — call and we will tell you a real date instead of a hopeful one. If we cannot hit your date, we will say so rather than take the job and miss.
I have no drawing at all. Is that a problem?
No, that is the normal case here. Send the part or clear photos. We scan the original, build the model, and machine the replacement. You keep the CAD file afterward.
The part is in three pieces. Can you still do it?
Usually yes, as long as the critical features survive somewhere across the pieces. Send photos before shipping and we will give you an honest read on whether it is recoverable.
Do you take one-piece orders?
Yes. No minimum quantity. Worth asking about a spare while we are set up — the second piece is much cheaper than the first, and it means the next failure is not a shutdown.
Can you match the original material?
In most cases. If the original material is unknown we can often determine a sound equivalent from the application and how it machines. Where it genuinely matters we will tell you what we can and cannot confirm rather than guessing quietly.
Do you need a PO to start?
A PO or a written approval on the quote. If your purchasing process is slow and the line is down, tell us — we will work with you on getting started while paperwork catches up.
Can I bring the part to you?
Yes, and for urgent work that is the fastest option. We are in Roxboro, NC, roughly 40 minutes from Durham and inside 90 minutes of most of the Triangle, Greensboro, Burlington, and Danville VA.
